Campground is nice, there's a man at the entrance who sells firewood if you forget yours. Generally quiet.
Love this place. Get away from the bustle of the city with an easy drive, then enjoy the stars at night and trails during the day. The campground fills up on the weekends and holidays, but midweek the place is usually really quiet. One of my go to spots for local adventure!
Beautiful Campsite! Living in the Imperial Valley this is the perfect getaway area for me. Nothing compares to waking up to the sound of Woodpeckers doing work in the surrounding Pine Trees. I have camped here in the beautiful summer weather and in the freezing winter, both were superb experiences. This campsite is open year round and is equipped with restrooms, showers, and daytime support from the rangers. Wood and maps can be bought from the ranger camp at the entrance of the campsite. Attached is a photo of the campsite fees. Overall this is the best campsite in the area!
Great place to camp, nice views and trails. We enjoyed the experience on a weekend. Bathrooms we're clean when we arrived but seems like they were never cleaned up again the rest of the weekend. I'd recommend the administration to pay attention on this.
Beautiful area and very nice campsite. The Laguna meadow along Big Laguna Trail is a dreamland. The older couple that do the rounds in the morning are so friendly and hospitable. The younger couple on the other hand could learn a thing or two, especially the angry brunette in the golf cart. She acts like she sat on a pine cone and shredded her lady unit. Sorry life is SO HORRIBLE for you, boo. Customer service is important, even if you're working for a national park. Buck up, buttercup.
